Bermuda's Fortifications Through Stamps & Tourism by Dan Marz

7:30pm Thursday January 11, 2024
Doors Open at 6:00pm

We hope you joined us for this in-person meeting for this warm summery presentation by NTSC's Daniel Marz.

A first trip to Bermuda over 25 years ago ignited Dan's interest in Bermuda philately. But Bermuda's main attraction was the many fortifications left by the English (and then British) colonizers who through forts, artillery and a massive naval presence, turned Bermuda from 22 square miles of scrub into Britain's "Gibraltar of America".

This evening we took a walk through some of those forts via both philately as well as Dan's own photos.

In our constitution, the Proposed Slate of Officers is presented and calls for new officers will end during the first meeting in November.
