Our special guest speaker, Lawrence Pinkney, expertizer from the Vincent Graves Greene Foundation took us into this interesting facet of Canada's Precancels.Â
We took a deep dive with Lawrence as he reviewed pre-1924 segments of his Canadian unauthorized precancel stamps. We also learned what a precancel stamp is and by contrast, what unauthorized precancel stamps are, from his examples. Â
