Early British Stamps and the Dawn of the Railway Age

Collecting early British stamps is often perceived to be highly technical, focusing on their design and production.  However the introduction of Postage Stamps coincided with a number of social and technological revolutions in Britain, including the beginning of the Railway Age.  

In this presentation, Paul talked about 2 early covers which provide a glimpse into this significant era.
