Ken's presentation demonstrated to us how further research into covers can lead to interesting stories that go beyond the philatelic aspects and tell us about the people who sent the letters, the postal officials who handled them or the people who received them.

Tonight's talk went into the details and stories of several covers, all but one from Ken's collection, ranging from 1829 to 2006 and were chosen to show a wide variety of backstories.
