The 1928-31 Graf Zeppelin
Proving Flights
7:00pm Thursday August 18, 2022
Aug 18th's Zoom meeting was presented by past NTSC president, Les Selby, on the Proving Flights of the Graf Zeppelin.
The Graf Zeppelin was conceived as the first rigid airship that would prove to an international audience that zeppelin passenger travel could be safe and viable.
The philatelic evidence of these proving flights to destinations that covered the globe during the first 3 years of the Graf Zeppelin's operation is both interesting and attractive.
