2023 Virtual Exhibition
Programme

The North Toronto Stamp Club would like to once again welcome viewers to this, its fourth Virtual Exhibition. The first virtual Exhibition was created at the height of COVID, and was intended to ensure the Club's lengthy string of annual exhibitions, dating back to the years of the Second World War, went uninterrupted. Three years later, we continue to attract new and reworked topics, not only from our own Club members, or indeed from the greater Toronto area, but in fact even from overseas!

The advantage of a virtual exhibit is that the viewer does not have to bend down or crane up to study items; the text can be read and not scanned; and there is no hurry to move from one frame to the next. For the exhibitor, this is an opportunity to receive national-level critiques ahead of the spring cycle of major Philatelic Exhibitions, with opportunities to reconsider and rework material, or secure elusive material.

I think you will agree that this year's assemblage of frames is extremely varied in its interests and its treatment of the material. Stamp exhibiting is intended to tell a story, and there are excellent tales told here. We hope you enjoy what you see and incorporate the knowledge and passion of the preparers into your own love of stamps!
